Refunds, Returns & Warranty Policy – Toys Nest
At Toys Nest, we want you to be absolutely delighted with every toy you purchase from us. If something isn’t quite right, we’ll do our best to make it right — quickly and fairly.
Exchanges
Changed your mind? No problem!
You can exchange an item within 21 days of purchase, provided that it:
- Is unused
- Is in its original packaging
- Is in saleable condition

Returns & Refunds
If your order arrives:
- Damaged
- Faulty
- Not as expected
Please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of receiving your order.
We’ll arrange:
- A replacement
- An exchange
- Or a refund
— depending on what works best for you.
Repairs & Warranties
Many of our products come with a manufacturer’s warranty, covering defects in materials or workmanship.
If your product develops a fault within the warranty period, we will assist in arranging:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
(based on the manufacturer’s policy and situation)
Your Rights (Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 – NZ)
Your purchase is protected under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).
This means all products sold by Toys Nest are guaranteed to be:
- Of acceptable quality
- Fit for purpose
- As described
If a product does not meet these guarantees, you are entitled to:

Warranty Process – How It Works
- Email us at sales@toysnest.co.nz
- Include:
- Your order number
- Details of the issue
- Photos (if required)
- Our team will guide you through the process
- We’ll coordinate with the supplier or manufacturer
⚠️ Please note:
Warranties and CGA claims do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage
- Misuse
However, we’ll always try to provide a fair and helpful solution.
How to Return an Item
- Email us at sales@toysnest.co.nz with your order details
- We’ll provide simple return instructions
- Send the item as advised
- Once received and inspected, we will process your:
- Refund / Exchange / Repair
A Few Quick Notes
- Items must be returned in original, unused condition (unless faulty)
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless:
- The item is faulty
- The wrong item was sent
- For exchanges:
- Price differences will be adjusted
- New delivery will be arranged accordingly
